Welding Rod 2.5 HATCH

Welding electrodes in 2.5 under Hatch's own brand. The smaller rod runs at lower current and lays down less metal per pass, which is exactly what thin material needs: light box section, sheet, thin-wall tube, small brackets, grille bars, burglar-proofing and repair work where a heavier rod would simply blow a hole straight through. It is also the rod many welders learn on and the one used for tacking up an assembly before running the main welds with something bigger. Being our own brand, it is priced for people burning rods daily rather than occasionally. Keep the packet closed and dry - damp electrodes give a spitting, unstable arc and porous welds, which on thin section shows up as burn-through.
