Waterproof Tape - Normal (5-meters)

Waterproof tape in the standard grade, five metres to a roll. It sits below the super grade in our range and suits the smaller jobs that make up most of what this tape is used for: sealing a hairline split in a downpipe, wrapping a weeping joint, taping a lap in sheeting, protecting an exposed connection from rain, patching a hose or a tarpaulin. On a clean, flat, dry surface it holds well; where the surface is dirty, curved or damp, or the leak is under any pressure, the super grade is the one that will stay put. Wrap it with an overlap and press it down firmly across a good margin either side of the fault, and think of it as buying time for a proper repair rather than as the repair.
