Wall Plug - Red Straight HATCH (M6)

Red straight wall plugs in M6, Hatch's own brand. This is the smallest straight plug worth using and the one that gets bought in the largest numbers, because most fixings in a building are light: picture and mirror hooks, cable and pipe clips, small brackets, curtain track, switch and socket boxes, name plates and signage. In solid concrete, dense block or stone the straight body expands hard against the hole and holds well above what those jobs ask of it. In hollow or crumbling material it will spin, and the fish-type plug in the same size is the right answer instead. Drill a clean hole to the plug's own depth, clear the dust, and use a screw that runs the full length of the body.
