Wall Plug - Grey Fish HATCH (M6)

Grey fish-type wall plugs in M6, Hatch's own brand. A fish plug differs from a straight one in how it behaves in the hole: as the screw goes in, the body knots and folds behind the wall rather than simply expanding sideways, so it grips in hollow block, plasterboard and crumbly older masonry where a straight plug spins or pulls straight back out. M6 is the small end of the range, right for curtain rails, light brackets, cable clips, socket boxes, mirrors, shelving cleats and general light fixing. Drill to match the plug, blow the dust out of the hole, and choose a screw long enough to pass fully through the plug body. For heavier loads step up to the larger sizes rather than doubling up on small ones.
