Wall Plug - Grey Fish HATCH (M12)

Grey fish-type wall plugs in M12, Hatch's own brand and the largest fish plug we carry. It exists for the awkward combination that defeats most fixings: a heavy load on a wall that is not solid. Hollow block, old plastered masonry that crumbles behind the surface, cavity work - places where a straight plug simply spins in a hole that has quietly gone oversized. The large body knots and packs itself against whatever it can find behind the face, spreading the pull over far more material than a small plug can reach. Used for heavy shelving and racking, wall-hung units, big brackets, sanitary ware and gate ironmongery. Drill accurately and clear the hole thoroughly - at this size, dust left in the hole is what stops the plug seating properly.
