Wall Plug - Green Straight HATCH (M7)

Green straight wall plugs in M7, Hatch's own brand. Straight plugs are the type most fixings use: the plug sits in a drilled hole and expands hard against the sides as the screw drives in, which makes them strongest in solid material - poured concrete, stone, dense brick and solid block. M7 sits between the light M6 and the heavier M8, and takes the middle-weight work most jobs actually consist of: door and window frames, cabinet rails, TV brackets, water pipe clips, boards and battens. Match the drill bit to the plug size and drill deep enough that the plug sits fully below the surface, otherwise it lifts as the screw tightens. In hollow or soft material a fish-type plug will hold better than a straight one of the same size.
