Wall Plug - Blue Straight HATCH (M8)

Blue straight wall plugs in M8, Hatch's own brand. This is the size people step up to when a fixing has to be trusted: shelving that will be loaded, television and speaker brackets, awnings and canopies, water heaters, gate stays, machinery brackets and handrail feet. A straight plug takes its strength from expanding hard against the sides of the hole, so it performs best in solid concrete, dense block and stone, and the M8 body simply presents more surface to grip with. Drill accurately - an oversized or wandering hole is the usual reason a fixing feels loose, not the plug. Seat the plug fully below the surface and drive a screw long enough to reach past its whole length. In hollow walls, use the fish type in the same size instead.
