Threaded Rod - (M8 x 1-meter)

Threaded rod in M8, one metre long - what the trade calls studding. It is thread all the way down and no head, which makes it the answer whenever a fixing needs to be longer than any bolt sold: hanging pipe, cable tray, ducting and ceilings from a soffit, clamping thick assemblies together, making U-bolts and custom fixings, levelling and adjusting machine feet, and reaching through a depth nothing else spans. Cut it to length with a hacksaw or a grinder, run a nut down past the cut first so unwinding it cleans the thread, and use a nut and washer at each end. M8 is the everyday size and pairs with the M8 nuts and washers on our shelf.
