A 20mm hole saw with tungsten carbide teeth. The carbide is the point: an ordinary bi-metal hole saw is built for wood and mild sheet and gives up almost immediately in stainless, hardened steel or anything thick, while carbide keeps cutting. Twenty millimetres is the smaller of the two TCT sizes we hold and matches the common gland and conduit entry sizes - holes into steel enclosures, consumer units and trunking, penetrations through casings and tanks, and openings in stainless worktops and sinks. Run it slowly with firm steady pressure and cutting fluid; speed is what destroys carbide teeth. Clamp the work properly, because a hole saw grabs hard as it breaks through and will spin an unsecured piece.
