Tangit is the name the trade uses for PVC solvent cement generally, and this is the quantity that trade buys. Because the cement welds rather than glues, joints cannot be adjusted after they are made and a dry-run assembly before cementing saves far more time than it costs. Keep the lid sealed between joints; the solvent evaporates from an open tin fast enough to thicken it noticeably over a working day.
