TANGIT - (1kg)

Tangit in a one kilogram tin - the largest we stock and a quantity bought by contractors rather than plumbers. A development of houses, a commercial building's drainage and supply, an irrigation scheme across acreage, a water project with mains to run: work at that scale gets through solvent cement steadily, and buying it by the kilo is both cheaper per joint and one less thing to run out of on a Friday afternoon. Decant into a smaller pot for working at the trench or riser rather than carrying and repeatedly opening the main tin, which thickens it. Store it sealed, upright, cool and away from any ignition source, and check an old tin before trusting it on a joint that will be buried.
