Steel drill bit - 6mm

A 6mm twist drill bit for steel. We carry two singles at this diameter and this is the more expensive; what separates them is not recorded here, and in a drill bit that gap is normally the steel and any coating - a plain high-speed bit against a cobalt or titanium-coated one, which holds its edge far longer in tough or stainless material. Ask at the counter if the work justifies it. The job is the same either way: 6mm is the everyday fabrication size, clearance for M6 bolts, rivet and pop-fixing holes, brackets, plates, angle and box section, and opening out an existing hole. Hammer action off, moderate speed, punch mark first, and cutting oil on anything thicker than sheet.
