Star Bit (Shinny) - 65mm Jumlee

A star-head driver bit from Jumlee, 65mm long, in a shiny finish. Length is the point of this one: a standard bit is about half as long, and 65mm is what reaches down into a recessed fixing, through a countersink, past a bracket flange or into the corner of a cabinet where a short bit leaves the chuck fouling the work. Star bits drive the cross-recess screws used across gypsum work, roofing, cabinetry and general fixing, and the deeper engagement of the star pattern is what stops a bit camming out and chewing the screw head. Fit it in a drill driver or impact driver, keep it square to the screw, and press firmly as it starts. Sold individually. Bits are consumables - a rounded tip wrecks screws faster than it saves money.
