Spirit Level - Light (10-inch)

A ten-inch spirit level in the light pattern. It sits below our standard ten-inch level on price, and the difference is body weight and rigidity rather than what it can measure: a lighter body is easier to carry in a pouch all day and cheaper to replace when it goes missing, while a heavier one holds its calibration better after being dropped. For second-fix electrical, cabinet and appliance fitting, and anywhere a level is used constantly for short checks, the light one is often the sensible buy. Same job in the same tight spaces - cupboards, socket boxes, brackets, cleats and frames where a metre level cannot go.
