Scraper -3''- Rubber Handle

A scraper with a three-inch blade and a rubber handle. Three inches is the width most decorators reach for first: wide enough to fill and smooth a patch in one or two passes, narrow enough to work into a reveal, along a frame, or around a socket without fighting the tool. It fills and finishes plaster, filler and skim, strips paint and wallpaper, lifts adhesive and old sealant, and clears mortar and screed residue off a surface. Keeping all three widths is normal practice - the two-inch for detail, this for most work, the four-inch for flat runs. Wipe the blade clean between passes; dried filler on the edge drags a groove through everything you have just smoothed.
