Sausage Silicone

Silicone sealant supplied as a sausage - a foil pack rather than a rigid cartridge. Two things follow from that. It holds substantially more sealant than a cartridge, so a glazier or fit-out crew running metres of joint stops to reload far less often, and it leaves almost nothing behind but a clip and a flat foil, which matters when the alternative is a bin full of plastic tubes at the end of a job. It needs a sausage gun; a standard cartridge gun will not take it. Used for glazing and window perimeters, sanitary and kitchen joints, shopfitting, expansion and movement joints, and general weather sealing. Cut the nozzle to the width of the joint, gun it in one pass, and tool it off before it skins.
