Rivet - (3/16 x 3/4'')

Pop rivets in 3/16 diameter by three quarters of an inch. The second figure is grip length - the total thickness of material the rivet will clamp - and three quarters is the long one, for stacks that a half-inch rivet cannot reach through: two sheets plus a bracket, sheet over a spacer or gasket, doubled panels, and box sections with a liner. Grip length is not a detail to guess at. Too short and the rivet will not set at all; too long and it sets loose with the mandrel head floating behind the work, which looks fixed and is not. Like all blind rivets it is set from one side only, which is why it is used on closed sections, tanks, ducting and signage where no one can reach behind.
