A ten-piece set of 8mm nut setters. A nut setter is a socket on a hex shank that fits a drill or impact driver, and the magnet inside it is the whole point: it holds the screw on the end so a roofer can place a fixing one-handed while the other hand steadies a sheet or holds a ladder. Eight millimetres is the size that fits the hex heads on most roofing and self-drilling screws. They are bought as a set because they wear and get lost in equal measure - the socket rounds off after a few hundred screws, and a rounded setter chews screw heads instead of turning them. Used across iron sheet roofing, steel framing, gutter work, cladding and ducting.
