MDF Screw - (4 x 25)

Cavalry MDF screws in gauge 4, twenty-five millimetres long. It sits between the very short 20mm and the 30mm, and takes the work that falls between them: light carcass assembly in thin board, fixing rails, cleats and glue blocks, drawer sides and bases, small boxes and trays, and attaching hardware where a little more grip is wanted than the shortest screw gives. Board punishes the wrong screw length in both directions - too short and the joint has almost nothing holding it, too long and it comes through a face somebody will see. The slim shank and sharp cutting thread go in without swelling the material. Countersink properly and hold or clamp the joint tight while driving.
