MDF Screw - (3.5 x 16)

Cavalry MDF screws in gauge 3.5, sixteen millimetres long - the finest and shortest board screw we carry. Sixteen millimetres does not reach far, and that is exactly why it exists: fixing hinges, catches, runners and handles onto cabinet doors and drawer fronts where a longer screw would come straight through the visible face, and fixing thin backs, panels and trims where there is nothing behind to bite into. The finer gauge matters as much as the length here, because a thicker shank in a thin panel or a door edge simply splits it. This is the screw that goes with the hinges, and running out of them mid-kitchen is a familiar way to lose an afternoon.
