Lubricant -Bs -40 (100ml)

BS-40 in a 100 millilitre aerosol, the smallest of the three sizes we carry - 100ml, 200ml and 400ml, the same lubricant throughout. BS-40 is one of those names customers use in place of the product itself, the way they say Conta for contact adhesive: here it means the thin penetrating spray for anything seized, squeaking or damp. The small can is the one that lives in a toolbox, a motorcycle pannier or a kitchen drawer rather than on a workshop shelf - enough for a stuck padlock, a hinge that has started to complain, a bolt that will not shift, damp ignition electrics, or lifting adhesive residue off metal. Soak a seized fastener and give it a few minutes before putting a spanner on it. It is a light penetrant, not a grease.
