Hex Screw - 2-inch (M8 x 50)

Cavalry hex screws in M8, fifty millimetres long, supplied by the box. We sell this size loose as well, and the box is for the job that needs them by the dozen rather than the handful: a run of brackets, a frame bolted up throughout, a machine base, a set of gate hinges, a rack or a mezzanine. Buying boxed costs less per screw and, more usefully, means nobody stops mid-assembly to count what is left. A hex head is turned with a spanner or socket rather than a driver, so it can be pulled up genuinely tight and undone again later without a chewed recess - which is what makes it the fastener for anything assembled rather than merely fixed. Needs a matching nut unless it goes into a tapped hole.
