A hacksaw blade under Hatch's own brand, for a standard hand frame. It sits below the SANDFLEX blades in our range on price, and the honest way to describe the difference is expected life rather than capability: for occasional cutting, a plumber's van, a household toolbox, or a site where blades disappear as fast as they are issued, a cheaper blade that gets replaced without complaint is often the sensible buy. Where somebody cuts metal all day, the branded blade works out better per cut. Used the same way regardless - teeth pointing forward, tensioned firmly in the frame, cutting on the push stroke, and let the blade length do the work rather than sawing in short strokes at one spot.
