Gypsum Screw - (6 x 3/4-inch)

Cavalry gypsum screws in gauge 6, three quarters of an inch long - the shortest length we carry. This is a specialist rather than a general choice, and it exists for build-ups where anything longer causes a problem: thin board on light gauge steel framing, fixing beads and stopping angles, second-fix trims, patch repairs and access hatches, and anywhere a screw must not break through the far face of a single sheet. On a metal stud partition it also avoids the sharp point standing proud inside the void, which is a real hazard for whoever pulls cable through afterwards. Bugle head, self-starting thread, driven with a star bit. Order it alongside your main length rather than instead of it.
