Gloves - Leather- Padded (heavy)

Heavy padded leather work gloves. Leather does what no knitted or coated glove can: it takes abrasion, resists a snag or a splinter driving through, tolerates heat close to hot work, and it moulds to the hand rather than staying a bag around it. The padding takes the sting out of repeated impact and vibration. This is the glove for handling steel section, plate and rebar, moving timber and scaffold, loading and unloading, chain and rigging work, demolition and clearance, and working near - not in - heat and welding spatter. They cost several times a cloth glove and last correspondingly longer if they are kept dry; leather that has been soaked and dried hard goes stiff and cracks. They are not cut-proof and not electrically insulating.
