Flap Disc (4.5-inch) - (P60)

A 4.5-inch flap disc in P60 grit, the middle of the three grades we carry. It sits between the coarse P40, which takes material off quickly and leaves deep scratches, and the finer grade, which cleans up but works slowly on anything substantial. P60 does both adequately, which is why it is the disc people keep on the grinder when they do not know what the next job will be: dressing a weld back and leaving it tidy in one pass, cleaning up cut edges, taking off surface rust and paint without gouging, and preparing steel for coating. When a job genuinely needs speed or genuinely needs finish, the grade either side does it better. Keep the disc moving and work at a shallow angle to the surface.
