Drawer Rail - Bearing (16-inch)

A ball bearing drawer rail, sixteen inches long - the longest of the three we carry. Length is set by the carcass, not by preference: a deep kitchen base unit, a full-depth office pedestal, a workshop tool drawer or a counter drawer needs a rail that runs most of the way back, or the drawer tips as it is pulled out and drops its contents. Ball bearings carry the load on both sides through a steel race, so a full drawer still runs smoothly and pulls out straight rather than drooping at the front. Sold and fitted in pairs. Measure the internal depth of the carcass rather than the drawer front, and fit both sides at exactly the same height or the drawer will bind halfway.
