Diamond Disc - MAKITA (9-inch)

A 9-inch diamond disc from Makita for the large angle grinder. Of the three nine-inch diamond blades on our shelf it is the lowest priced, which makes it the usual starting point for somebody who needs the depth of cut a big blade gives but does not cut concrete every day. Nine inches goes through block wall, concrete lintel, kerb, paving slab and screed in a single pass rather than scoring the surface as the small blade does. Used for cutting openings and service chases, trimming slab and kerb, and demolition. A nine-inch machine carries real torque, so hold it with both hands, keep the guard fitted, stay out of the plane of the disc, and never let the blade twist in a deep cut.
