Diamond Disc - DEWALT (9-inch)

A 9-inch diamond disc from DEWALT, for the large angle grinder. Diameter buys depth of cut, and that is the whole reason to move up from the 4.5-inch: a nine-inch blade goes through a block wall, a concrete lintel, a kerb, a paving slab or a floor screed in one pass where the small one only scores the surface. Used for cutting openings and chases in blockwork, trimming slab and kerb on site, cutting screed and lintels, and demolition work. It is also considerably more dangerous - a nine-inch machine has real torque behind it, so use both hands, keep the guard fitted, stand out of the plane of the disc, and never let the blade twist in a deep cut. Feed steadily and let the diamond rim do the work.
