Diamond Disc - DEWALT (7-inch)

A 7-inch diamond disc from DEWALT. It sits beside the Makita blade of the same diameter, and as with the other sizes the choice usually comes down to which brand the rest of a person's tools carry. Seven inches is the middle size: deeper cutting than the 4.5-inch without the weight and torque of a nine-inch machine, which makes it the practical choice for a long chase or a run of cuts held in one position. Used for chasing walls for conduit and pipe, cutting block, lintel and screed, and trimming slab, kerb and paving. The bonded diamond rim grinds through rather than wearing away, so it survives work that would consume abrasive discs. Feed steadily and never twist it in a deep cut.
