Diamond Disc - DEWALT (4.5-inch)

A 4.5-inch diamond disc from DEWALT, for the standard angle grinder. It sits beside the Makita disc of the same size at the same price, and which one people take usually comes down to which brand their other tools carry rather than any difference on the job. Both grind rather than abrade their way through hard material, using diamond bonded to a steel rim, and both last through work that would consume abrasive discs by the box: floor and wall tile, porcelain, concrete, block, kerb, stone and paving. Used for chasing walls for conduit and pipe, trimming tile and slab on site, and cutting through lintels and screed. Feed it steadily without forcing, and never twist it in the cut - a diamond rim that has been glazed or knocked out of true will not cut straight again.
