Conta in a 250 gram tin, the size that starts to suit a day's work rather than a repair. Ask for Conta in any hardware shop in Kenya and this is what you get - contact adhesive, sold under the name everybody uses for it. Two hundred and fifty grams handles the jobs joinery throws up regularly: edging a worktop or counter in laminate, facing a door or panel, bonding rubber and cork sheet, sticking carpet and vinyl at thresholds and edges, and covering a run of upholstery. Coat both faces, wait until neither is wet, then bring them together squarely - there is no second attempt once they touch. Keep the lid firmly on between uses or the tin skins over and is wasted.
