Conta in a one kilogram tin. At this size it stops being bought for a job and starts being stock: a joinery workshop laminating worktops and doors continuously, an upholsterer working through foam and fabric, a shopfitter facing counters and display units, a school or hotel maintenance store. Buying the kilo rather than four 250g tins costs less per gram and, just as usefully, means the tin in the cupboard is never nearly empty when a job comes in. Contact adhesive keeps only while it is sealed, so a large tin wants a lid pressed down properly and a cool shelf out of the sun. Decant into a smaller pot for brushwork rather than carrying the whole tin around a bench.
