Circular Disc - MAKITA 40T (4.5-inch)

A 4.5-inch circular saw blade from Makita with 40 teeth. Tooth count is the specification that matters on a wood blade: more teeth take a smaller bite each, so the cut is slower but far cleaner, and 40 on a blade this size is a fine count meant for finish work rather than fast ripping. It suits cutting board, ply and MDF where the edge will be seen, trimming skirting, architrave and beading, and cross-cutting timber without tearing the far face. It is a wood blade and should be treated as one - putting a toothed blade into masonry, nails or steel destroys teeth instantly and can throw fragments. Check the bore and the machine's maximum blade size before fitting.
