It sits beside the Makita blade of identical diameter and tooth count, and for most people the choice comes down to which brand the rest of their tools carry. Forty teeth on a blade this small is a fine count, which trades cutting speed for a clean edge - the right way round when the cut face will be seen. Suits sizing board, ply and MDF, trimming skirting, architrave and beading, and cross-cutting timber without tearing the far face.
