Caster Wheel - Light (2-inch)

A caster wheel in the light pattern, two inches across. Casters are bought in fours and the size decides two things at once: how easily the thing rolls, and how much clearance it adds underneath. Two inches is the small end, which suits office and household furniture, display and shop units, light trolleys and racks, plant stands, storage boxes and bin frames - anything moved by hand across a smooth floor. Small wheels are hard work on rough ground or over a threshold, where a larger diameter rolls far better. Fit all four the same, and remember that a set of casters is only as strong as its fixings: use screws into something solid rather than into the edge of thin board.
