B.Pad Sandpaper - (P80)

A fibre sanding disc in P80 grit, run on a backing pad fitted to an angle grinder. It is the grade that follows the coarse P40: where that one strips and removes, P80 takes out the scratches it left and brings the surface to something a coat of paint will sit on properly. Used for finishing steel after weld dressing and rust removal, feathering the edges of filler so the repair does not show through the paint, taking timber to a smooth surface, and cleaning up concrete and screed. The pad behind it flexes, so the disc follows curves and contours rather than cutting into the high spots. Match the disc to your pad diameter and change it once it glazes over, which happens sooner on paint than on bare steel.
