B.Pad Sandpaper - (P100)

A fibre sanding disc in P100 grit, run on a backing pad fitted to an angle grinder. It sits between the P80 and the P120, and exists because the step from one to the other is bigger than it looks on a large flat surface: P100 takes out the P80 scratches without the clogging and slowness of going straight to the finest grade, which matters when there is real area to cover. Used as the middle step in preparing steel for coating, working filler down on panel repairs, and smoothing timber before a finish. It is a sequence rather than a choice - each grade removes the marks of the one before, and skipping a step usually shows up under paint. Change it once it glazes rather than pressing harder.
