Anchor Bolt - (10mm)

A 10mm anchor bolt, for fixing into concrete, block and solid masonry. Anchor bolts work by expanding inside a drilled hole as the nut is tightened, gripping the surrounding material rather than relying on a plastic plug, which is what lets them carry weight that would pull an ordinary fixing straight out. They are the standard answer for bolting down machinery and workshop equipment, fixing steel brackets, gates and grilles to walls, anchoring handrails and balustrades, and mounting water tanks, pumps and solar frames onto concrete bases. The 10mm figure is the bolt diameter, and the hole is drilled to suit it with a masonry bit before the anchor is driven in. Sold individually, so buy the count your fixing pattern needs.
